Seti Provincial Hospital
The present Seti Provincial Hospital, located in Dhangadhi, the district headquarters of Kailali district, was established during the Rana period. It was started in 1997 from a 15-bed district hospital. Thereafter in 2029/09/14 B.Sc. The old hospital building constructed with the joint support of Nepal-India Mission has a laboratory, operation theater, labor room and maternity ward.
It was developed as a 25-bed hospital in 2038 BS. The 50-bed Seti Zonal Hospital was started in 2040 BS. Out of this, 15 beds have been provided free of cost to the helpless and poor patients. Despite the approval of the Ministry of Health to operate 125 beds from the Hospital Development Committee's own source of income in 2061 BS, it is currently operating up to 215 beds due to the pressure of daily patients.
The newly constructed indoor and emergency building of the hospital currently houses the services of emergency ward, X-ray, pediatric ward, medical ward and surgical ward, operation theater, hemodialysis, ICU etc. The administrative room of the hospital is also located in this building.
The hospital is serving as a referral hospital in the Far Western Development Region. Recipients from various mountainous and hilly areas of the country have been coming to this hospital for health care.n addition to this Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city, various VDCs along the sub-metropolitan border are located in the eastern VDCs of Kanchanpur district, west of the district headquarters Dhangadhi. And the service recipients from municipalities like Rakwar Bichuwa, Rampurbilaspur, Tribhuvanbasti and Parasan have been coming to this hospital for health care.
Various hilly VDCs of Kailali district. Records show that patients from other hilly districts have also been referred to the hospital for further treatment.
In the course of further treatment, the service recipients from the eastern VDCs of Kailali district have been coming to this hospital for health care.
